Holiday commissions are piling up in my inbox at a terrifying rate. I think that's proof that I've a) publicized my profession too much and b) made too many friends here. Nobody will notice if I go to the nearest jewelery shop, buy a few necklaces, add my own touches to them, and pass them off as my own, I'm sure.
Honestly, I'm considering finding a smaller place to live or hiking my rates. Selling my time just to pay the rent isn't worth the sacrifice.

I just had to share this most bizarre thing that happened to me just a little while ago. I was sitting at a red light downtown, and five or so people ran out of a Starbucks and started chasing after people down the pavement. They tackled a few pedestrians and were groaning and biting them.
Someone called the police but I didn't stick around to see what happened. Is anyone seeing it on the news? I can't imagine this wouldn't end up on TV.

I'm having a strange sort of day. Do you ever wake up and feel like nothing is where you put it the previous night? And now I think I've found a piece of amethyst in my wine which should most definitely not be there.
